lyrics

LEAVE YOUR NAME

LEAVE YOUR NAME BEHIND
YOU’VE BEEN CLEARED
FOR A STAY IN THE ROOM
NO-ONE WILL COME AROUND TO YOUR SPACE
SAVE FOR THE NURSE AND THE MEDS
THE COURSE HAS BEEN SET
A SLOW DESCEND INTO HELL
THAT’S THE WAY IT IS SPELLED

YOU HAVE BEEN REFERRED
BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
YOUR OPINION WAS DEFERRED
YOU WILL GET THE GOOD CARE YOU DESERVE
YOUR WISHES HAVE BEEN
CAREFULLY CONSIDERED
‘TIL YOU NO LONGER FEND
FOR YOURSELF IN THE END

LEAVE YOUR NAME AT THE DOOR
FROM NOW YOU WON’T NEED IT NO MORE

YOU WILL NO LONGER FEEL
THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD
FOR THAT THE SYSTEM IS PLEASED
WE WILL SPARE NO EXPENSE FOR THIS TREAT
WE HAVE A WAY IN THE MIND
OF THE LITTLE CREEPS
IT’S DOWN UNTIL YOU FADE
UNTIL NOTHING IS LEFT

BUT I SEE YOU OBJECT
HOW CAN YOU BE SO UPSET

LEAVE YOUR NAME AT THE DOOR
FROM NOW YOU WON’T NEED IT NO MORE
BUT I SEE YOU OBJECT
HOW CAN YOU BE SO UPSET
